Conservation framing can be as simple or complex as the client desires. Although we have many ways to satisfy the most cunning conservateur, we also provide basic conservation framing upgrades for artwork protection against age.

Do we offer archival framing? Of course. If you don’t know what archival framing is, not to worry, we’ll explain the pros and cons as we discuss your needs and the importance and value of your artwork.

We offer conservation glass in clear, non-glare, and anti-reflective Museum; all of which block 99% of UV rays to prevent fading.  Our mats are all acid-free, with options for full archival cotton for original art and priceless items.  We can also treat your antique paper treasures with Archival Mist, a deacidifying process used by the Library of Congress.

Preserving artwork doesn’t stop at glass and matting, we also provide non-invasive options for mounting to keep your art safe and beautiful for years to come!  For more info about what archival means click here.

Conservation framing involves 3 areas: conservation glazing (or glass), conservation matting and conservation mounting.
